Isabella Diplotti (792 days)

Isabella Diplotti is the founder of BSMAC and served as President from April 2014 to June 2016. As the founder of BSMAC, Isabella laid the foundation for the association, bridging the gap between university and the M&A industry. During her presidency, she established BSMAC’s core mission and network, ensuring that members had access to valuable industry connections and resources. Her leadership set the stage for future growth and impact. She completed the CLEF program at Bocconi University (2011–2014) and participated in an exchange semester at Sciences Po in 2015. She later earned a Master’s degree in Finance (2014–2016) from Bocconi. During her undergraduate studies, she took part in In-Company Training programs at Ondra Partners and Morgan Stanley. In 2015, she gained experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she later joined the TMT team as an Analyst. Currently, she serves as a Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Fabrizio Colloca (396 days)

Fabrizio Colloca was President of BSMAC from July 2016 to August 2017. He completed the BIEMF program at Bocconi University (2014–2016) and participated in an exchange semester at Cornell University in 2016. He later earned a Master’s degree in Finance (2016–2018) from Bocconi. Fabrizio has completed In-Company Training programs at Citi, Banca IMI, Goldman Sachs, Houlihan Lokey, Barclays Investment Bank, and Morgan Stanley. In June 2017, he joined Rothschild & Co as an M&A and Equity Advisory Intern, supporting the Industrials team in company evaluations, financial statement analysis, and the preparation of company profiles. Since April 2023, he has been an Investment Banking Associate at Jefferies.
Building on Isabella’s foundation, Fabrizio expanded BSMAC’s industry presence by strengthening corporate partnerships and introducing structured networking opportunities for members. Under his leadership, the association became more deeply integrated with leading investment banks, offering students increased exposure to real-world M&A practices.

Luca Cassiano (242 days)

Luca Cassiano was President of BSMAC from September 2017 to May 2018. He completed the CLEF program at Bocconi University and participated in an exchange semester at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He later earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Bocconi. Luca gained experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Lazard, Fredericks Michael & Co., and Goldman Sachs. Since January 2021, he has been a Vice President at Warburg Pincus LLC.
Luca focused on professional development, implementing hands-on training initiatives to better prepare members for investment banking careers. His efforts helped refine the educational aspect of BSMAC, ensuring members gained practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge, making them more competitive in the job market.

Valerio Hetlinger (426 days)

Valerio Hetlinger served as President of BSMAC from June 2018 to August 2019. He completed the BIEF program at Bocconi University (2018–2021) and later earned a Master’s degree in Financial Analysis from the London Business School (2021–2022). Valerio held positions as an Advisory Intern at KPMG and as a Summer Analyst at HSBC and Lazard, where he developed expertise in M&A and financial analysis. In November 2022, he joined Boston Consulting Group as an Associate. Since October 2024, he has been an Investment Manager at B&C-Gruppe in Vienna, Austria.
Valerio enhanced the association’s reputation by deepening collaborations with leading M&A firms and improving knowledge-sharing initiatives. His leadership reinforced BSMAC as a key platform for students aspiring to careers in finance, strengthening its ties with professionals across the industry.

Giuseppe Tricarico (243 days)

Giuseppe Tricarico served as President of BSMAC from September 2019 to May 2020. He completed the BIEF program at Bocconi University (2015–2018) and spent an exchange semester at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. He later earned a Master’s degree in Finance (2018–2020) from Bocconi. In 2019, he completed a Private Equity Summer Internship at Oxy Capital in Milan, Italy. Giuseppe then joined Credit Suisse as an Investment Banking Analyst (2021–2023). Since July 2023, he has been an Investment Banking Associate at Jefferies.

Fangyou Ye (579 days)

Fangyou Ye served as President of BSMAC from June 2020 to January 2022. He completed the BIEF program at Bocconi University (2016–2019) and participated in an exchange semester at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2019. He later earned a Master’s degree in Finance (2019–2022) from Bocconi. Fangyou completed In-Company Training programs at JP Morgan, Citi, HSBC, and BNP Paribas. During his Master’s studies, he interned as an Investment Banking Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank in Amsterdam and at AITi Tiedemann Global in Milan. He then worked for three years as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer & Industrial division at Baird in London. Since January 2025, he has been a Senior Investment Associate at Growth Partner in London, United Kingdom.
Leading BSMAC through the challenges of the pandemic, Fangyou expanded digital resources and virtual networking opportunities, ensuring that members could continue accessing industry insights and career-building experiences despite global disruptions.

Andrii Yerokhin (515 days)

Andrii Yerokhin served as President of BSMAC from February 2022 to July 2023. He completed the BIEF program at Bocconi University (2020–2023) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Management at HEC Paris (2024–2026). Andrii gained experience as a Summer Intern at VIKTU (Berlin, Germany) and as an M&A and Strategy Summer Intern at Teya (Lisbon, Portugal). Since September 2023, he has been an Off-Cycle Analyst at Green Horse Advisory in Milan, Italy.
Andrii modernized BSMAC’s approach by integrating market trends and case study-based learning into its educational programs. His initiatives provided members with a deeper understanding of real-world deal-making, equipping them with the skills needed to excel in the competitive M&A space.

Stefano Leone (153 days)

Stefano Leone was President of BSMAC from August 2023 to January 2024. He completed the BIEM program at Bocconi University (2021–2024) and participated in an exchange semester at the UW Foster School of Business in 2024. In 2022, he was a Spring Intern at Aviva in London, working in Insurance and Asset Management. He later completed an Investment Banking Summer Internship at VITALE in Milan in 2023. Since August 2024, he has been pursuing a Master’s degree in Management at the London Business School.
Stefano strengthened BSMAC’s global outlook by fostering international collaborations and exchange-driven knowledge-sharing. His presidency emphasized the importance of cross-border perspectives, encouraging members to engage with M&A dynamics on an international scale.

Martina Sampietro (335 days)

Martina Sampietro served as President of BSMAC from February 2024 to January 2025. She completed the BIEF program at Bocconi University (2022–2025) and participated in an exchange semester at Queen Mary University of London in 2024. In 2023, she completed a Spring Internship at EQUITA in Milan, gaining experience in M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Alternative Asset Management, Sales & Trading, and Equity Research. She also interned as an Auditing Summer Intern at BC& in 2024. Since January 2025, she has been an Incoming Spring Intern at Rothschild & Co. in Milan.
Martina introduced a new report format emphasizing analysis using Mergermarket, refining the quality of research and insights produced by the association. Her efforts enhanced the analytical depth of BSMAC’s work, making it a more valuable resource for both students and industry professionals.

Marco Lodrini (ongoing tenure)

Marco Lodrini has served as President of BSMAC since February 2025. He is currently completing the BIEM program at Bocconi University (2022–2025) and participated in an exchange semester at the Frankfurt School of Finance in 2024. In 2024, Marco completed a Strategy Consulting Internship at EY-Parthenon in Milan. Since January 2025, he has been an M&A Intern at F10 in Milan, Italy.
As the current President, Marco has led a structural transformation of BSMAC, introducing four supporting teams to optimize the association’s workflow and improve efficiency. This reorganization has strengthened collaboration across different functions, allowing for greater specialization and a more effective approach to research, networking, and industry engagement.
